Founder and CEO of TriHealth Family Wellness Center since 2022, Dr. Hussein has grown the company to three locations, with plans for national expansion. He is board certified in Family Medicine, trained at Michigan State University Genesys Regional Medical Center, and completed two years of General Surgery training at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Illinois Carle Foundation Hospital.
His dedication to patient-centered care, innovation, and operational excellence has positioned Trihealth Family as a trusted provider of comprehensive healthcare.
With over a decade of experience as an ER physician, Dr. Hussein served as Medical Director of the University of Florida Brownwood Freestanding ER and is currently the ER Director at Tampa General Hospital’s Crystal River location.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Hussein is fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish, ensuring a personalized and inclusive experience for patients from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Hussein’s pursuits extend beyond medicine as he enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, aviation, chess, and spending time with his family. Amazingly, Dr. Hussein finds time to give back to the community by heading a community project for a nonprofit K-12 educational academy.

HUDA ALAEDDIN, PA-C
Huda Alaeddin is a board-certified Physician Assistant and the Chief Operating Officer of TriHealth Family Wellness and Medspa. With over a decade of experience in family medicine, women’s health, surgical care, and medical aesthetics, she is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care to her patients from simple health needs to complex findings. Huda holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Christian Brothers University and has advanced training in robotic surgery, aesthetic procedures, and wellness therapies. At TriHealth Family Wellness Center, she leads a compassionate team delivering comprehensive services, including primary care, urgent care, gynecologic services, and cutting-edge aesthetic treatments.
As a bilingual healthcare provider fluent in Arabic and English, Huda ensures culturally competent care for diverse communities. Beyond her clinical work, she is an educator and mentor, currently serving as an instructor and facility at a Physician Assistant program in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Nico D. Kristen, MD

Dr. Nico D. Kristen is a highly skilled and board-certified Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in trauma, critical care, and high-acuity patient management. A graduate of the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, where he earned Clinical Honors (Cum Laude), Dr. Kristen completed his Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Wheeling Hospital and currently serves as the Medical Director for TriHealth Family Gainesville.
In this role, Dr. Kristen provides visionary leadership and expert clinical oversight, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients. He also serves as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at high-volume, high-acuity facilities, including Lake City Medical Center and the University of Florida Hospital, Leesburg Campus.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Kristen is a proud member of the U.S. Army Reserves, providing medical care to soldiers and maintaining excellent standing with the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Fluent in English, Afrikaans, Dutch, and Flemish, he brings a global perspective and cultural competence to his practice.

Tim Atkinson, APRN-FNP, is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 13 years of extensive experience in emergency and trauma care. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in various high-stakes environments, holding several senior roles, including Director of Emergency Services at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Lake City Medical Center, and Eastside Medical Center. In these positions, he managed operations across both main and satellite campuses, overseeing critical functions in Level II Trauma centers and freestanding emergency rooms. His leadership at Suwannee Emergency further highlights his ability to direct complex emergency services, ensuring high-quality care in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
Tim's career began as a staff RN in the emergency department of North Florida Regional Medical Center, where he quickly rose through the ranks due to his clinical expertise and dedication to patient care. He also gained valuable experience as a traveling nurse with Parallon Work Force, working across multiple HCA facilities and divisions, further strengthening his trauma and ER management skills.
Tim's goal is to transition into primary care as a newly certified APRN-FNP, where he can apply his rich experience in emergency care to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a primary care setting. Andy Duclos, PA-C, MSPAS, is an experienced Physician Assistant with a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky.
